Behind-the-Scenes Collection Tours - July 25

Join the curators at the History Museum of Mobile for a behind-the-scenes look at our collection! See inside the vault and learn how curators care for more than 117,000 objects. You'll also get an up-close look at objects that have never before been on display, including the oldest items in the vault!
During this informative and fascinating tour, curators will discuss the particular environmental, handling, and housing factors needed to prevent damage and ensure the preservation of the objects they collect, safeguard, and interpret for present and future generations of citizens.
These special 1-hour tours are free for members, $20 for ages 18+, and $15 for ages 8-17. Two time options are available for each date: 10:30am and 5:30pm. Tickets must be purchased online in advance (see link below).
