The Battle Of Fort Charlotte Reenactment
March 15, 2025
12:00pm - 2:00pm
Colonial Fort Conde is proud to present “The Battle of Fort Charlotte.” Join us for this special reenactment in the Fort Conde courtyard on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm!
In recognition of the only battle from the American Revolution to occur in Mobile, we invite guests to partake in a unique historical reenactment about the battle between Great Britain and Spain for control of Mobile. The story will focus on British Captain Elias Durnford and the decisions he makes that determine the fate of Mobile.
The reenactment will begin at 1:00pm. Prior to and after the reenactment, guests will also be able to interact with British soldiers and militiamen within the walls of the fort and visit a Spanish military encampment on the outside of the fort, participate in demonstrations with townspeople, and learn more about the American Revolution’s impact on the Gulf Coast.
Admission is free for History Museum of Mobile members and children under age 4. For ages 4 and up, admission is $5.00. All tickets must be reserved online in advance by clicking the link below.
Guests do not need to print or show tickets -- just check in at the door. No walkup tickets will be available on the day of the event, so reserve yours today!
